On March 17, 2024, a contingent from the Indian Army set off for Seychelles to engage in the tenth iteration of the joint military exercise named “Exercise Lamitiye-2024.” This biannual event, symbolizing ‘Friendship’ as its name suggests in the Creole language, aims to strengthen the military collaboration between the Indian Army and the Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF).
