India Enter the Semi-Final with Strong Momentum

The Indian team secured its semi-final spot after a crucial victory over West Indies in their final Super 8 match.

The win was powered by a brilliant unbeaten innings from Sanju Samson, who scored 97 runs off 50 balls in a match that effectively acted as a quarter-final for India.

India finished second in Group 1 of the Super 8 stage with four points after winning two of their three matches.

Their only defeat during the Super 8 stage came against South Africa, who topped the group.

Before the Super 8 stage, India had an impressive group stage campaign, winning all four of their matches.

Suryakumar Yadav Leads India’s Batting Chart

He has scored 231 runs with an average of 38.50 and a strike rate of 135.88.

Another key performer with the bat has been Ishan Kishan.

The aggressive wicketkeeper-batter has scored 224 runs at an impressive strike rate of 185.12, playing several crucial innings during the tournament.

Varun Chakravarthy Key in India’s Bowling Attack

India’s bowling attack has also played a significant role in the team’s journey to the semi-finals.

Mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy has been the standout bowler.

He has taken 12 wickets in the tournament so far with an average of 15.33 and an economy rate of 7.66.

His ability to control the middle overs could prove crucial against England’s aggressive batting lineup.

England Enter Semi-Final After Dominating Super 8

The England cricket team has entered the semi-final with strong form.

England captain Harry Brook has led the team from the front.
