With the nation targeting a 30 per cent adoption of electric vehicles by 2030, this programme has been meticulously designed to equip participants with both technical expertise and practical skills, encompassing the latest advancements in EV design, manufacturing, battery management, powertrain systems, charging infrastructure, safety protocols, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence in fault diagnostics. The initiative reflects IIT Delhi’s commitment to fostering a skilled workforce capable of supporting the country’s transition to sustainable transportation and meeting the evolving demands of the rapidly expanding electric vehicle ecosystem. By combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, the programme promises a holistic learning experience for professionals eager to stay ahead in the competitive EV industry.

The one-year diploma programme is structured to deliver a deep understanding of electric vehicle systems while providing practical exposure to industry-standard tools and techniques.
