Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended his warm greetings to the nation on Hindi Diwas, emphasizing the deep and unbreakable connection between Hindi and every other Indian language. In a message released on Saturday, Amit Shah highlighted the integral role of Hindi as the official language of India and its unique relationship with the multitude of languages spoken across the country.

Amit Shah reflected on the significance of Hindi, which has marked 75 years of service in public communication and national unity as the country’s official language. He underscored that all Indian languages are not only a source of pride but also a vital part of the nation’s cultural heritage. According to Amit Shah, the progress of India is inherently tied to the enrichment and preservation of these languages.

In his message, Amit Shah stated, “Heartiest greetings of Hindi Diwas to all the countrymen… Official language Hindi has an unbreakable relationship with every Indian language.” This sentiment underscores his belief in the harmonious coexistence of Hindi with other regional languages and their collective importance in the nation’s progress.

Amit Shah expressed confidence that Hindi, while serving as the official language, will continue to play a crucial role in the development of India. He emphasized the need to bring all Indian languages together to achieve the goal of a developed nation. Amit Shah’s remarks come as part of a broader initiative to foster unity and respect for linguistic diversity in India, celebrating the role of Hindi in bridging gaps between different linguistic communities.

The commemoration of Hindi Diwas not only recognizes the significance of Hindi but also acknowledges the rich tapestry of languages that contribute to India’s vibrant cultural landscape. Amit Shah’s message reaffirms the government’s commitment to promoting linguistic harmony and the shared heritage that binds the country together.
