Thalapathy Vijay’s latest cinematic venture, “The Greatest of All Time” (GOAT), directed by Venkat Prabhu, is progressively nearing the Rs 200 crore mark in net domestic earnings. Since its release, the film has consistently performed well, sustaining its momentum at the box office.
Released globally on September 5, amid substantial anticipation and fanfare, GOAT achieved an impressive opening, garnering Rs 126 crore worldwide on its first day. Despite experiencing its lowest daily earnings on September 11 with Rs 8 crore net in India, industry experts anticipate a rebound in ticket sales over the upcoming weekend. As of now, the film’s total domestic collection amounts to Rs 170.75 crore net, as per data from tracking website Sacnilk.

On September 11, the Tamil version of GOAT recorded an overall occupancy of 27.80%, with evening and night shows accounting for 37.86% and 30.99% of the total viewership, respectively.
The film, an espionage thriller, showcases Vijay in a dual role, supported by a stellar cast including Prashanth, Prabhudheva, and others, with notable cameos by Trisha and Sivakarthikeyan. AGS Entertainment has produced the film with an extensive budget of approximately Rs 380 crore. The technical team includes renowned figures such as composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematographer Siddhartha Nuni, and editor Venkat Raajen.
