In a dramatic development, the Mumbai police’s crime branch has disclosed details from a chargesheet involving a planned attack on Bollywood actor Salman Khan. According to the chargesheet, Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, delivered a nine-minute motivational speech to the shooters before they fired at Khan’s residence in April.
The attackers, identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were instructed by Anmol Bishnoi to “script history” with their assault. The shooting occurred outside Khan’s home at Galaxy Apartment in Bandra on the morning of April 14. The chargesheet, which spans 1,735 pages, reveals that Anmol’s speech was delivered via an audio note, where he assured the shooters that their actions would be significant.
In his address, Anmol Bishnoi emphasized the importance of their mission, urging Gupta and Pal to do their “best work.” He described their task as “religious work” and encouraged them not to fear the consequences, suggesting their actions would bring societal change. Anmol also emphasized the Bishnoi gang’s modus operandi of fully using their ammunition during such operations.
“Fire shots in such a manner that it scares Salman Khan,” Anmol instructed, highlighting his intent to intimidate the actor. He also advised Gupta and Pal to avoid wearing helmets and to smoke cigarettes to project an image of fearlessness.
The chargesheet reveals that Anmol Bishnoi maintained close contact with the shooters leading up to the attack. Gupta and Pal, along with three other accomplices—Sonukumar Bishnoi, Mohammad Rafiq Choudhary, and Harpal Singh—are currently in judicial custody. Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi, and a third accomplice, Rawtaran Bishnoi, are wanted in connection with the case. Anmol Bishnoi is believed to be in Canada, and a lookout circular has been issued for his arrest.
