EU current account surplus €85.4 bn – Products Euro Indicators

In the third quarter of 2023, the EU seasonally adjusted current account of the balance of payments recorded a surplus of €85.4 billion (+2.0% of GDP), compared with a surplus of €74.2 billion (+1.8% of GDP) in the second quarter of 2023 and a deficit of €69.9 billion (-1.7% of GDP) in the third quarter of 2022, according to estimates released by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
