The President expressed gratitude for Belgium’s supportive stance in advocating for calm and condemning the ongoing escalation in the region. Prime Minister De Croo reiterated Belgium’s alignment with Egypt’s vision and its readiness to back Egypt’s endeavors, particularly concerning the activation of the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. He emphasized Belgium’s commitment to deepening coordination and consultations with Egypt to prevent the expansion of conflict and restore stability in the region.
