Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 15 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said country has become safer under the 11 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance, adding that nation was witnessing frequent terrorist attacks under the tenure of UPA (2004-2014).

Amit Shah made these remarks at a UP Police recruitment ceremony where more than 60,244 Civil Police Constables received appointment letters.

“Terrorist attacks were frequent in the country.the country has become safer. He noted that Naxalism, which once spread across 11 states, is now confined to just three districts. By March 31, 2026, India will be completely free from Naxalism. During the previous government’s tenure, terrorist attacks were frequent in the country,” Amit Shah said.

Union Home Minister said that in the field of space, India has been able to reach that part of the moon where no one in the world had reached before, and Prime Minister Modi named that place the Shivshakti Point, sending a message of our country to the entire world.

He said that the Modi government has honored the country’s women power and worked to revive several cultural aspects.

Shah noted that Ram Lalla is now enshrined in a grand temple in Ayodhya, the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor has been built, the Somnath Temple is being transformed into a temple of gold, triple talaq has been abolished, and Uttarakhand has become the first state with a Uniform Civil Code under Prime Minister Modi’s governance.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also said that precise striking capability carried out by the Indian armed forces inside Pakistan territory completely destroyed terrorists hideouts during Operation Sindoor.

He also mentioned that Prime Minister Modi has worked to curb corruption under the guise of the Waqf Board by enacting strict Waqf laws. (ANI)
