Kohli felt it was a no-ball, so he opted for the Decision Review System (DRS). The third umpire reviewed with the help of Hawk-Eye. The review revealed that Kohli was outside the crease and the ball was dipping.
As per MCC rules
As per the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) rules, if the ball is above waist height, it will be deemed an illegal delivery. In this situation, Kohli was outside the crease, and the ball was dipping.
Was the decision correct?
As per the MCC rules, the umpire’s decision was correct. However, some people doesn’t believe that the ball was above Kohli’s waist.
