In an exclusive revelation, a local police FIR alleges that CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur slapped Bollywood actress and newly-elected BJP MP Kangana Ranaut at Mohali airport. The FIR, filed based on a complaint by CISF Inspector Surendra Kumar Sharma, recounts the incident where Kaur reportedly stopped Kangana Ranaut and slapped her.
According to the FIR, Kangana Ranaut was accompanied by four staffers, including CISF and airline personnel. As Kangana Ranaut cleared pre-embarkation security check (PESC), Kulwinder Kaur, stationed at the adjacent frisking booth, purportedly emerged and slapped Kangana Ranaut. She was promptly pushed back to her booth by another constable.
The complaint further states that Kangana Ranaut proceeded towards her boarding gate after the incident. Surendra Kumar Sharma urged the police to file an FIR against Kulwinder Kaur for her alleged misconduct.
The police, after reviewing CCTV footage, confirmed Kangana Ranaut’s account, asserting that Kulwinder Kaur stopped her and assaulted her.
Following the incident, a video surfaced showing Kulwinder Kaur conversing with a passenger, explaining her actions. Kulwinder Kaur cited Kangana Ranaut’s comments on the farmer protests as the reason for her reaction.
In response, Kangana Ranaut, in a video message upon reaching Delhi, expressed her safety concerns, stating that Kulwinder Kaur assaulted her and hurled abuses. Kangana Ranaut emphasized her apprehension about rising terrorism in Punjab.
The incident has sparked controversy and raised questions about the security protocol at airports, prompting authorities to investigate further.
