The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to release the much-anticipated date sheet for the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board exams for the academic year 2025. Students will be able to access the exam schedule, including dates and shift timings, on the official CISCE website, cisce.org, once the timetable is published. The date sheet will be issued as a downloadable PDF document for the convenience of students and schools.
To download the ICSE and ISC exam date sheet 2025, students can follow these steps:
- Visit the official CISCE website at cisce.org.
- On the homepage, click on the link labeled “ICSE 2025 Exam Date, ISC Routine 2025.”
- A new webpage will open, displaying the ICSE Date Sheet 2025 PDF.
- Download the document to review the detailed timetable.
The CISCE traditionally conducts the ICSE Class 10 board exams during February and March, and the 2025 exams are expected to follow a similar timeline. The Class 10 and 12 time tables will provide a subject-wise schedule along with shift timings and the duration of each exam.
In addition to releasing the exam schedule, CISCE has recently aligned its policies with the CBSE by discontinuing the release of merit lists for board exams. This decision aims to reduce unhealthy competition and undue pressure among students, focusing instead on holistic academic performance and learning outcomes.
The CISCE examinations have consistently seen strong participation and performance. In 2024, approximately 3.43 lakh students appeared for the board exams across Classes 10 and 12. For Class 10, a total of 1,30,506 boys and 1,13,111 girls appeared, with 1,29,612 boys and 1,12,716 girls passing successfully. In the Class 12 exams, 47,136 girls and 52,765 boys appeared, with 46,626 girls and 51,462 boys passing. These statistics reflect a high success rate for CISCE board students.
Students and schools are advised to regularly check the CISCE website for updates on the release of the timetable and other essential exam-related announcements. As the board exams approach, the date sheet will serve as a critical tool for students to plan their preparation effectively and ensure they are well-prepared for the upcoming assessments.
