In a recent announcement by the state media KCNA, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin have extended their greetings to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on the occasion of North Korea’s founding anniversary.
According to KCNA, President Putin expressed confidence in the fortification of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), emphasizing the role of concerted efforts in achieving this goal. “I am sure that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and the DPRK will be strengthened in a planned way thanks to our joint efforts,” Putin stated.
Meanwhile, President Xi Jinping emphasized the need for deeper strategic communication and cooperation with North Korea, signaling a continued alliance between the two nations.
The report also recalled last year’s celebration by Kim Jong Un, which was marked by a parade of paramilitary groups and diplomatic gestures, wherein he committed to strengthening the ties between North Korea, China, and Russia.
