The Indian government is set to introduce six new bills in the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament, scheduled to begin on July 22 and run until August 12. According to sources, these bills aim to address various sectors and legislative requirements.
Among the key proposals, the Disaster Management Bill will seek amendments to the existing law to enhance disaster preparedness and response. The Bhartiya Vayuyan Vidheyak 2024 is another significant bill, intended to replace the Aircraft Act of 1934, with provisions designed to facilitate ease of business in the civil aviation sector.
