Schools will have until January 17, 2025, to verify these applications. Similarly, for the Single Girl Child Scholarship X-2023 (Renewal for 2024), applicants must submit their applications by January 10, 2025, with schools verifying them by January 17, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
The Single Girl Child Scholarship X-2024 is open to students who completed their Class 10 exams in 2024 and are currently studying in Class 11 at CBSE-affiliated schools. The renewal scheme is available for students who were awarded the scholarship in 2023. Applicants must be single girl children, meaning they are the only child of their parents.
Additional eligibility conditions include a minimum score of 60% in the CBSE Class 10 Examination. The tuition fee for Class 10 should not exceed ₹1,500 per month, with a permissible annual increase of up to 10% for Classes 11 and 12. For Non-Resident Indian (NRI) students studying at schools abroad, the tuition fee cap is ₹6,000 per month. Applicants must be Indian nationals.
