As the CBSE board exams for 2025 draw closer, students and parents are advised to adopt specific strategies to ease stress and optimize preparation. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued guidelines to help students overcome anxiety and prepare effectively for the exams. These tips focus on fostering a supportive environment and following a structured study plan.

For parents, the board emphasizes the importance of guiding children in planning, organizing, and creating a practical timetable. A stressful environment can hinder a child’s performance, so parents are urged to provide motivation and cultivate a conducive atmosphere for study. Encouraging positive reinforcement plays a crucial role, with parents advised to praise their children for their efforts and use constructive statements like “Well done” or “You can do better” instead of negative remarks like “That was not enough.”

Parents are also encouraged to maintain open communication with their children, helping them address concerns and find solutions to problems. Building trust and confidence is vital, particularly when children feel demotivated by falling grades. Additionally, humor can be an effective tool to alleviate tension and keep the atmosphere light.

For students, understanding their concentration span and incorporating breaks into their study sessions is essential. Identifying the best time for concentration can significantly enhance productivity. Group studies for challenging subjects can also be beneficial, fostering peer support and shared understanding of complex topics.

CBSE advises students to reflect on their previous exam performances to identify weak areas and focus on improving them. Time management is critical, with students encouraged to create a timetable that balances study and relaxation activities like playing, walking, or watching TV. This balance helps in maintaining mental well-being while ensuring effective preparation.

Repetition and revision are key elements for success. Students should regularly revisit their learned material to ensure easy recall during exams. Work that is not revised is easily forgotten, making consistent review an integral part of the preparation process.

As the exam date approaches, a well-structured revision plan is essential. A timetable that includes all subjects and allocates ample time for relaxation can significantly reduce stress and enhance performance.

The CBSE’s tips aim to empower students and parents alike to tackle the upcoming board exams with confidence and resilience. A combination of careful planning, positive reinforcement, and stress management strategies will go a long way in ensuring a successful outcome for the students.
