Binance, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the launch of educational initiatives aimed at empowering aspiring entrepreneurs in Ukraine. Partnering with the Superhumans Foundation, Binance’s charitable arm will allocate $150,000 to support Ukrainian citizens affected by the ongoing conflict.
The initiatives, designed to provide knowledge and skills necessary for business establishment, will include entrepreneurship programs spanning three days, with ongoing mentorship for participants over the following month. It is projected that around 100 individuals, including civilians and military veterans, will complete the program, with approximately 30% expected to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.
Highlighting the significance of supporting veterans, Binance aims to train 50 veterans to kickstart their businesses by the end of 2024, with plans to scale this number to 100,000 over the next three years.
In addition to the educational project, Binance will establish a social franchise to assist victims and war veterans in launching their own businesses. The initiative seeks to empower individuals looking to rebuild their lives and contribute to their communities.
Binance Charity Foundation (BCF), the exchange’s non-profit organization, is dedicated to leveraging blockchain technology for philanthropic endeavors. Previously, Binance Charity extended support to the earthquake-affected communities in Morocco in September 2023, demonstrating its commitment to global sustainable development through innovative solutions.
