– State Water Action Plans (SWAPs) have greenlit 6,527 projects, with an estimated cost of ₹1,29,636 crore.
– These projects aim to provide 148 lakh new tap connections and 33.42 lakh sewer hook-ups, addressing critical gaps in urban infrastructure.
– Furthermore, proposals to rejuvenate 2,102 water bodies have been set in motion, with a proposed budget allocation of ₹3,664 crore.
