A review meeting of the Revenue Department was held today under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate at the Collectorate office in Gautam Buddh Nagar. During the meeting, the District Magistrate reviewed departmental work and issued directions to ensure the speedy disposal of pending revenue cases at various levels.
Officials were instructed to prioritize the resolution of cases pending in courts and to take effective measures to reduce the number of pending matters in revenue courts. The District Magistrate emphasized that timely disposal of cases is essential to ensure efficient governance and public satisfaction.
During the review, all Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), Tehsildars, and other revenue officials were directed to regularly monitor pending cases in their respective courts. They were also instructed to strengthen the disposal process and ensure that cases are resolved in a systematic and efficient manner.
The meeting also focused on identifying cases that have been pending for a long time. Officials were directed to make special efforts to resolve such cases through targeted action plans. It was stressed that the entire process should be carried out with complete transparency and fairness, ensuring that justice is delivered without bias.
Emphasizing the need to strengthen the functioning of revenue courts, the District Magistrate highlighted that every case must be handled with quality and diligence. Officials were warned that any negligence in handling cases or delays in disposal would result in accountability being fixed on the concerned officers.
The review also included discussions on improving administrative efficiency and ensuring that revenue-related services are delivered effectively to the public. The District Magistrate reiterated that reducing the backlog of cases remains a top priority for the administration.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Manglesh Dubey, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sadar Ashutosh Gupta, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Dadri Anuj Nehra, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Jewar Durgesh Singh, Deputy Collector Ved Prakash Pandey, and other concerned revenue officials.
The administration reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring timely justice and improving the overall efficiency of the revenue department through regular monitoring and strict implementation of directives.
