The irrigation department was asked to complete repair work on canal-side roads at the earliest. The Food and Civil Supplies Department was instructed to maintain transparency and efficiency in the distribution of food grains and LPG cylinders. Additionally, marketing officials were directed to ensure proper arrangements of drinking water, shade, and seating for farmers at procurement centers.
Strengthening Self-Help Groups and Rural Livelihoods
During the review of the NRLM department, the District Development Officer presented details regarding products manufactured by self-help groups and their income generation activities. The chairperson appreciated the efforts of these groups and sought further information on product quality, marketing systems, and income growth.
Directions were issued to strengthen these initiatives and promote them on a larger scale to enhance rural livelihoods and economic empowerment.
