A sector meeting was organized today at the Child Development Project Office in Dankaur, where Anganwadi workers from Chharsi and Sirsa sectors participated. The meeting was chaired by Child Development Project Officer Sandhya Soni and focused on reviewing ongoing welfare schemes, strengthening implementation mechanisms, and enhancing coordination among field-level workers. The session aimed to ensure better delivery of services related to maternal health, nutrition, and public awareness initiatives across the region. Officials emphasized the need for timely data reporting, improved beneficiary outreach, and efficient execution of government programs at the grassroots level.
Focus on PMMVY and Nutrition Tracker Implementation
During the meeting, Anganwadi workers were provided detailed information on the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), including registration procedures, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements. Special emphasis was laid on ensuring accurate and timely entry of beneficiary data into the Nutrition Tracker system to monitor health and nutrition indicators effectively. Officials reviewed the current progress of PMMVY and expressed concern over the slower-than-expected performance in certain areas. Instructions were issued to improve outreach and ensure that eligible beneficiaries are identified and enrolled without delay. Ayushman Card Enrollment and Field-Level Responsibilities
In addition to the review of schemes and campaigns, an Ayushman Card enrollment camp was organized at the project level during the meeting. Anganwadi workers completed Aadhaar verification and initiated their enrollment process under the scheme, highlighting the importance of healthcare coverage for frontline workers. Officials reiterated that workers must ensure maximum enrollment of eligible beneficiaries in their respective areas to expand access to health services. The meeting concluded with clear instructions for all participants to intensify field visits, promote government schemes, and ensure effective communication with beneficiaries.
